Hey tireman, since youre likely home by now hitting the scotch, how come you're such an expert at 3M in just 15 months when you couldn't even figure out how to make tires that last longer? 3Ms innovation machine used to find ways to do that before mcnerney put the axe to the research department and then imposed sick sigma on a bunch of PhD folks who despised Mack.
What's up next, Sir Tire? More baristas at 3M Center?
i dont think any of the leadership team will rescind the WYW program. because they want to enjoy the flexibility to work from home themselves.
correct, Tireman? if you happen to be reading this.
Tireman if you are reading this
Stop WYW for EO team immediately
You will gain back some productivity
Pls get everyone back to office including those regional folks.
They are enjoying too much working from the comfort of their home
Restore the fairness for plant teams!!
All WYWers should return to office effective March 1st until stock price hits $150 and 3M has two consecutive earnings calls where there are no excuses made for $h1tty results.
It is not hard to detect abusers base on their performance. If managers think some are slacking, ask them to come to work in office and improve their productivity. If they don't then going to let them go. How hard that going to be?
Hah, "Work No Way" is a big contributor to lack of productivity and stagnation, lack of creativity, change or innovation at 3M. Company is more stagnant than ever with bloated layers of leadership, management micromanaging, and non value added employees that contribute little to nothing on lowering manufacturing cost and making products cheaper or cleaner with less impact on environment. That and 3M has a major image problems with consumers, they see this place as a dirty chemical company that makes peoples drinking water polluted. PFAS all over the news will be the death nail. People have stopped buying our 3M branded products because of these past abuses of the environment, and our preceived expensive cost. There are a few that are productive, even a few that excel, and many more doIt's that brag on social media about how little they work or do for 3M as a remote employee. It's reflective in lack of change or growth, with little introspection or team building. These last 3 years are a bane partly because of the Pandemic, partly because of lack of accountability, mostly even from 3M's top leadership. Past sins are ki----g this place. When less than 10% of your so called top end technical people involved in R &D and scientist are even checking in, or showing up at the corporate research labs or such and relying on technicians to do everything how do you excel? How do you have innovation or change at manufacturing level when so many in leadership, supply chain, or forecasting, finance, never even hardly communicate with locals, set foot on a campus, or understand cost of inventory, cost of goods, P&L impacts, line and machine capacity and limitations in far off places, with no concept of what they are actually making. The disconnect is real, not all Work No Way is bad, but there are more abusers than not abusers. Should the program go away no, but the abusers need to be part of these current cuts.
