Mr. Lambert was once hyped as the next Warren Buffet, but there hasn't been any mention of that for quite some time. Is he still the next Warren? What does the future hold for Mr. Lambert? I hope Mr. Lambert continues to buy retail stores and add shop your way benefits to them. Buying Bath, Bed, & Beyond would be a great opportunity. Also Mr. Ed Lambert should buy Belk and close all those stores down as well.

No he's not the next one. He has vastly surpassed--in the minds of some--the man of Nebraska. Through concealment of secret partnerships and untold reserves of wealth, this person has more money than the first 10, maybe even the first 50, maybe the 1000 itself (excluding his own published and diminished fortune to avoid double counting) of the renown list of rich people. The publicly published fact that one's fortune sits at around 30% of what it was before one decided to push the chips to center of the table (mostly that of time) on the venture of showing everyone else how it's supposed to be done is but an inconvenient fabrication. Maybe he's the one who keeps LVMH, Space X, Zara, Grupo Carso, Reliance Industries, BH itself, and many other ventures viable with his personal extension of credit and liquidity. Yes, many people subscribe to this belief and other flat-worlder doctrines, too.
