Last I heard was 1 wk per year of service and capped at 26 weeks max. Was much more generous in early 2000s ( or so I heard )

I believe it is 2 weeks per each year up to 10 years and then 1 week for each year for each year over 10. Some groups that were cut last year, did not get the standard 45 days to find a job.. but historically one would have 45 days to find a job and then severance would kick in. Unemployment can not be collected until severance runs out.

Also, I was let go in 2008.. I went to the Dr before my insurance ran out and had him up my meds so cut them in half and get 6 mos instead of 3 filled before insurance was gone.

How does it feel to be betrayed and reduced to a dollar sign?
