Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Compensation Conversations

Manager hasn’t scheduled me for a comp conversation and I’m seeing conflicting information in threads. I keep seeing no raises and 20% reduction in bonus but healing internally that the go ahead to release info hasn’t been received. Are both of these correct?

For those that didn't get an increase, did you get the one given earlier in the year?

HR released compensation details today. Most people are just waiting on their managers now. Get ready for the scripted talking points.

No raise. Bonus down 20%. What an insult.

Yep. Me too. Had my discussion w/my manager today. She made it clear to me (2x) that it was not her decision but from upper management.

This is them saying get lost. BM actually said in an interview recently that not enough people left last year, so they are probably trying to help payroll by not giving bonuses and letting those that dislike it leave.

They know how many disloyal are waiting for a bonus to leave, so they took away their incentive to stay.

Comp increase and bonus was so small it was insulting

Yes this is correct. We were told a couple of weeks ago by upper management hardly any raises and 20-30% less on bonuses.

Not sure if every department is the same but we’ve always had comp conversations early February. I’d say you should hear something within a week.
Your manager probably hasn’t scheduled them because word hasn’t been shared down from his/her leadership either.
