I've worked as an engineer in multiple 3M plants, and on projects in many, many more, so it's hard not to be particularly disapointed with such a short-sighted executive choice. In the spirit of transparency (a resource in short supply these days), could people please post verified locations/numbers? Speculative numbers just confuse the issue. Thanks

There's been some talk about cuts in Monroe NC, Scott Safety but I'm still trying to get confirmation of it.
Heard APAC has been asked to cut 12~15%
Direction from PG.
I believe its 2,500 globally. Labor in the US and Europe are the most expensive so expect majority of cuts to come from there.
Could someone please give site management at Hutch an email so they could send out an email or 2?
Cottage Grove laid off 10 in December. We’ve heard our site layoffs are done but many are still uneasy
Both Plant managers in Decatur have sent out emails today confirming layoffs will be coming.
What BGs are impacted? And, no Q & A today?
1200 is the ball park number but going by past cuts every year the last 6 years, the number will never be approx, the good news is that it always seems to be less than reported, so in these worrying times please help yourself if you are affected by getting the company to help you with time off for interviews and resume updating, remember don't suffer on your own, speak to someone who will listen, there will be brighter days ahead, God Bless..
Any insight on the Red Wing Plant?
TTS will have some as well.
Garbage grove will be hearing the news next week.
Still nothing about Hutchinson besides rumors
Is the Decatur number reflective of the PFAS exit?
Is that 120 at decatur confirmed or speculation?
Brownwood is not done cutting, found out yesterday from a reliable source that March will be the last month for about 75 people.
Decatur - 120
Brownwood - 12
Nevada - 43
Menomonie - 25-30 (don’t have the exact number here but it’s from reliable source)
