Because the way it's done is wrong. If they were open and honest about DEI everyone would be treated the same globally.

We were already moving that way, and that is for the better, but could do without the bat sh-t crazy stuff. The pendulum will swing back towards normality one hopes.
Here is to “checking my privilege” and to all of life’s problems being due to systemic racism. Thanks for the insane diagnosis and for not providing real plans for effective change. DEI folks are the whinny ones, I just look at the crazy and move on with my life as before.

I logged onto this morning to message two colleagues and both of their accounts were deactivated. To say I'm sad is an understatement... Had no idea it was even happening.
You are safe until you are not (anymore) - that's the reality I am afraid.
This was just performance-based layoffs. The annual riff hasn't started yet.
Usually happens over a couple of weeks to give the managers a chance to talk to everyone effected including those on sick, PTO etc. Plus there are not enough HR people to attend every call, at least that is how its happened in the past.
Or will there be more today?
