BV going back!

Be interesting to watch local management suck up to new company after all the bad mouthing they did when bought WildHorse. Wondering if the Cajun that made CHK great and his posse will be asked about the ones that didn’t make it home!

For the last few years CHK has sucked and generally kept the people who suck up. Plenty of boot lickers left. It does look like the goat got got in more ways than one.

I love how you people comment under hidden names because they are too afraid to post about how CHK fired them because they suck! The fact that y’all sit on a comment thread bashing folks testifies to how much you deserved to get RUNDOFF! Good luck at the unemployment office.

Any date on BV closing? Notice CSB has scheduled release of investigation for later this year and hearing the civil lawsuits coming after the little leadership clan. Wondering how quickly the new company put distance from this.

Where is the SEC review in this transaction for the BV asset sale?
To summarize, CHK bought the BV assets in 2019 for 4.25 billion dollars with 3 billion in preferred CHK shares. After CHK went through bankruptcy and the removal of their debt obligations, this BV group was first in line to collect their newly minted shares.
This same group became represented on the board. Now they are selling the same assets to the same company for ¼ the sale price paid 3 years ago.
What is worse, unethical, corrupt business practices by the board?
Or a company so badly miss managed that it has driven its asset value down by 75% of its value in 3 years?

Paul S,,, was only one who stood up to Cajun mob on safety and paid for it with his job like others going against SB. If they would have listened maybe those families wouldn’t be without loved one.

STX assets got low balled since cr---y agreements, leases and all drilled up along with dropping gas prices. Once you look at all the hidden environmental issues that have been covered up the liabilities is more than fake reserves on the books. The overhead charged out for people and crews that never show up for work continues to be practiced and as made this uneconomical.

So who's got the scoop on the Eagle Ford (south tx) assets?

Well ,well no oil on the books was a big mistake a long time ago. History has a way of repeating itself. You have to wonder how a chief financial officer survived two CEOs and then became the CEO. He survived the failures of financial oversight when he was the one who was supposed to guard the company's financial well-being.
Bad decisions were made that ruined a once good company by all parties.....especially that guy.
Let's not forget FP either. Yep I sa it all. The boat house, CHK arena, the DFW thing, the Pier 1 building. The Midstream sale. The fire sale of West Texas, a huge blunder. The reverse split and ultimately the bankruptcy.
Let's not forget after my history with CHK my being layed off. It was a rodeo ride by a bunch of wanna be cowboys.

The below is exactly case & point. The US energy department just committed to buying and refilling our reserves at $70/bbl. This paired with Chinas strategic moves with OPEC is going to drive the demand up and cause the price to go up as well. And here CHK is wanting to sell their oil assets at a loss. But honestly are you surprised? Whoever is making these decisions obviously doesn’t have the long term goal in mind.

It’s very ironic how these poor soul’s timing is always the worst.

Buy Wildhorse in Jan 2019 with the intention to swing heavily into liquid production, and oil price collapses throughout 2019-2020.

Then started liquidating the Midcon + Rockies + Brazos BUs with the intention to swing back to the status of gas producers, meanwhile gas prices collapse back to $3...

Bad luck or unconstrained incompetency ?

So let me get this straight. The great minds bought this package for 4 Billion a mere 4 years ago. Then decide to sell it for 1.4 Billion after dumping millions into this trash heap. Directly effecting 4 families and then assigning the investigation to a bunch of crooks to cover everything up and blame the contractors. Sell it off to poor sap. I just hope they do their true due diligence. I may have to reach out to them and let them know a few places they might want to look at real close. Especially a few wells on the banks of the Brazos River and I use bank really loosely! I will advise them to bring a Fleer camera with them when they look at these leaky steam piles.

What do you expect from SHell Burrrrrr and his cast of characters that bought it and then sold it. When they got rid of anyone that spoke up about the things they were hiding handwriting was on the wall. Wonder if wildfire will continue to allow the operators to work from home or allow the “couple hour lunch” the leaders all like to take. Hopefully they bring back the only real safety guy that ever stood up, PS

What complete and utter id--ts. Wildhorse was the nail in CHK's coffin. Why oh why did they make that d-mba** buy in the first place? Wonder how Le**erman feels about this. Think I will pull out my bottle of Woodford Reserve and cheers myself to leaving that place when I did
