There's no doubt that layoffs are happening. But while we keep reading about new rounds all over the place, people keep forgetting or ignoring the fact that unemployment is not rising despite layoffs. This means that the job market is still in favor of the employee. Things are not as bad as some are perceiving them to be.

Job market is still red hot. It's just big tech doing these large layoffs
I resigned last week and can tell you that job market is great if you kept up with your skills and didn't WFH watching Netflix for last 3 years
You don't know how unemployment numbers work do you? What's the labor participation rate? How many of the working people, are working more than one job? Have you looked at the household rate vs payroll?
