This is why I ghost recruiters. They can't bother to treat candidates with respect when there is a plethora of workers to choose from. Why bother when the shoe is on the other foot?
Happend to me too, spent hours preparing for a presentation part of the interview too... Job opening had been canceled but didn't bother telling me.
This is normal. I now return the favor by ghosting them instead. Karma.
