Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Do you think that the recent nationwide retail lay offs were bad? Just wait for the customer care layoffs.

Thousands of people are going to be left jobless. Just remember, this company will kick you to the curb in a second and lie to you about why or try to make you feel responsible. In actuality though.. we have had meetings for months about all of these layoffs. This “restructuring” is just a shift of wealth… taking money out of one persons pocket and putting it into Mikes pocket… very selfish.

Watch everyone get replaced by ChatGPT, and customer service surveys rising at the same time. Then if the problem still doesn't get solved, it'll be sent over to India or the Philippines.

The thing with the likes of Mint Mobile is that it works with practically no overhead. No stores, no sellers,, no dealers, just Ryan Reynolds shilling on YouTube and TV ads at the lowest wholesale prices, while cutting back things like YouTube quality just like T-Mobile used to. (Did you see his AI generated video "ad" on Twitter?). The Super Bowl ad was funny, they flipped the previous years' upside down, with Ryan Reynolds talking about this is just another way of reducing overhead and passing savings to customers. They make no bones about the fact that customer service uses a chat bot, and activation is literally just plugging in your SIM. Real life customer service? That's a subscription. The current promo has you getting 10GB a month for six months running at $60. No wonder T-Mobile wants to buy them.

T-Mobile just signed a showroom deal with Costco where you still have it delivered to your home so it's practically the same. Walmart is already selling T-Mobile and MetroPCS plans. They don't and never cared about e-mail ki----g USPS jobs, or traffic lights ki----g traffic cops at every corner. They'll happily buy made in China so iPhones don't cost $5,000. This is the future, and the cheaper things are, the happier subscribers will be.

To all of you that have been let go…DON’T be fooled into applying for new jobs that are forthcoming with the restructuring. There is no job security at T-Mobile. Especially if you have anything to do with the Metro side of the business. The very best thing you can do for yourself and your family is to take your severance and cut all ties with T-Mobile. I promise you will find something else. It takes a huge amount of courage to do this but at the end of the day you will be better off. I promise. Again…DON’T fall in the trap of hanging on in hopes to get another position. You owe it to yourself to move on! PLEASE trust me. I did two years ago and now could not be happier in my life. MOVE ON!!!!
