So what is happening to the employees in these outlet stores or red dot stores. The cosmetic associates, shoes and handbags that was taken out of the Greenville, TN store. Did they relocate them, offer them a package or what????

its confirmed the previous poster might be right the store is indeed closed right now at 3.00 pm Fri I'm thinking they might be called belk outlet its a shame though that belk really has gone the way it has it would have been so much different but really looking back at the old southern lady she really couldn't hold on even if the belk brothers held her hand I mean I think there's like 130 off mall locations old ish style 80s and some very early 2000s kohls like stores 40 ok top middle decent mall locations so that's 170 stores there the rest are old 70s dead end mall stores I mean really it is impressive that belk did make it this long in one piece but being a higher end store in one market and being a jcp in another now with the new furniture deal its legit like sears or penny's belk could have focused on being the more fashion focus store higher end brands and wider in store services to stay relevant but large closures new capital investment in the actual middle market stores which belk made its sales from would have been more wise but it is what it is
I am the one who posted it. I do not work there. The store did temporarily close today and will reopen at the end of the month as a Belk Outlet. They were removing all remaining regular priced clothing items yesterday. I assume those will go to other stores in the area. The only thing on the floor was clearance clothing items yesterday at 3 pm. They had approximately 12 workers in there at the time.
