Exxon wants your infrastructure. They are currently trying to reduce expensive head count in the US and Europe. They have been moving Engineering and Geology jobs to India. Even have been moving India expats to the Houston campus they are so cheap.

Gotta create some hype somehow. Someone is looking to dump some stocks im guessing.
CK and other execs sold a bunch of shares in December, if DEN were being bought they would hold shares to maximize price gains from the transaction.
The article released is vague, and sounds like pure speculation. At least the last time this was brought up it sounded like talks were advanced.
Could be wrong though, who knows!!
