Sounds like the VP of construction?
VP has been selling missing merchandise on Ebay
The ones that got laid off were given a blessing in disguise. They no longer have to wonder when they will be laid off. They no longer have to wake up each morning going to a job they have no intent of wanting to go to, dreading the day ahead. Just going through the paces each day like a zombie knowing whatever work is being asked of them to do will have no payoff, make no difference. They will now seriously look for another, better job. Get a jump on all the drones that are still there working for what...the imminent announcement of bankruptcy and eventually being laid off? How does it feel waking up each day going to work knowing whatever it is you are working hard at is for absolutely nothing now? Yes, it is awful to be laid off but the alternative in this situation is worse. Especially since those who are left willingly subjecting themselves to working for something that is meaningless and will shortly be irrelevant.
Fewer than they should have cut at Union.
The majority of people that were let go were district managers and corporate staff.
Remember when they fire the people they were with the company when they were great...there is no one left to get us back there!
But WHO got let go from corporate? Inquiring minds want to know!!!!
Oh please...those let go today were higher up on the bbb food chain with plenty of money. In reality they should have been the FIRST let go awhile ago instead of those at store level who actually worked and contributed to running the day to day business. These guys have been highly paid dead weight for far too long.
Seriously? Just let it be. Already sad to see people don’t have jobs with families.
