You know your witless message got here by transiting through routers all running IP and talking BGP right? Somebody's got to build and run that infra. Gee I wonder if it's run by a bunch of AWS-certified people?

Do not believe this is the norm and definitely don’t believe everything you read on this site. I know only one person at Cisco who would even have enough time to have a second job.
I have 2 side gigs. Cisco just pays me to do nothing. You can say I'm a "ghost employee". If I can get a new fake ID, I could even get a second fulltime job at Cisco and nobody would know. Then I would turn that new job into another "ghost employee". Scam the scammer is my motto.

Don't believe everything you read on thelayoff.com.
When you have a company with an unqualified CEO that does not care about employees, then for the sake of you and your family, a side gig or second job is a logical safety net so you are covered when (not if) you are LR'd
