I have a lot of recruiters contacting me. I've turned down a bunch, had some job offers, and even more are rolling in. It's the beginning of the year and hiring managers are getting fresh budgets to do hiring. I have to agree with the previous comment that saying otherwise right now is fear mongering. If you have to live in fear and lick boots to keep your job at GM, you might want to see what's out there.

It's hard to know, but most companies are unable to keep up with the inflationary rates everyone has experienced the past year 2022. Everything costs more- food, gas, housing, etc. With interest rates so high (FED hoping to curb inflation), companies are being forced to curb budgets. Some are forced to reduce headcount. NOW is a time to recognize you have a job, make your pay, hope you are not cut from the payroll. EVERYONE should be saving cash until we see the economy turn around.
