I worked at NCR for a few years, but after Mike's response to a question in an All Hands webcast I left the company because it didn't align with my values. The question was asked in the All Hands dated on August 30 or 31st I believe and was related to NCR's political donations. Can anyone provide a summary of Mike's response to the question, as well as what Mike said about the Russian/Ukrainian conflict?

Dang, NCR didn't support global warming....i need to quite that job, lol
Funny that OP cannot recall it considering it made a life changing event to his life
Mike did give away his Tesla…..probably upset Twitter was bought by Elon.
I doubt this individual licks their boots, just asking you questions and pointed out an observation. It did not seem this individual was alone as others were making similar observations. Best of luck to you in your inquiry.
NCR is a very Woke company.
I would be surprised if they did not support climate change.
No I wouldn't boycott them because I wasn't employed by them, and I'm not curious about the small players. NCR's larger customers should be held accountable for their roles in influencing politics if they have participated in bribing politicians like NCR. Corporations have no place in politics in my opinion.
I understand inflation has caused grocery prices to skyrocket, but I promise there are more affordable, tastier, and nutritious options available than the boot you're licking.
& if the thread about the cronyism going on in the company didn't remind you that the leadership has twisted morals, check out this article about Mike's pay increasing over 100% ($28M, wowzers) during the pandemic. Then take a look @ the threads here about layoffs throughout 2020.

Would love if anyone who's isn't stuck under NCR's boot could answer my question.
If that's the case will you boycott the customers who are purchasing NCRs products since they by proxy are also not supporting fixing issues related to climate change. If your curious a out those things they should be published somewhere.... why ask what was said at an all hands many many months ago.... I have to be honest and say first impressions of your OP indicates an agenda to dig up dirt to use for whatever this agenda is..
There's a thread on here that details the connections between NCR execs showing that they all worked together in the past as well as other posts discussing things that happened in other webcasts, but my post crosses the line? Some of these responses make me wonder HR or PR browse this site as well.
I left for many of the reasons other have complained about here. Overworked, underpaid, understaffed & tired of dealing with the BS that comes with that. The final straw was hearing that the politician NCR donated to voted against a bill seeking to address climate change. I have family in areas that will be effected by climate change, and don't want to support a company that endorses ignoring the issue
I'm confused. You quit your job because Mike said "politics are complicated"?
I'd be leery of replying to this post. OP was able to provide specific dates but doesnt recall details on a call that made them quit... proceed with caution on this one...
I can recall some details but I don't remember many of the specifics. I do remember Mike saying that NCR had suspended its donations to politicians, but don't remember why they chose to do so. His response seemed to boil down to "politics are complicated"
Why can't you summarize the response, if it affected you so much, you left the company?
