I have been one of the unfortunate members of the AIG layoff back in July. I received the “last day of work” for April 14, 2023 with the promise of a decent severance if I stay until last day of work. I am getting nervous because I haven’t signed anything; my severance was a zip file sent by HR. No signature needed. I am starting to wonder if they’ll even pay the severance. Any past experiences here of AIG not providing promised severance ?

They can do anything. Just be careful and don’t be vocal till you get your package. Otherwise they will have all excuses to sc--w you. Best Wishes. Otherwise your package will become their STI bonus for this year.
Nothing to worry about. They send the severance agreement closer to your last day of work.
I think he is asking if the people who are being let go on March 31st, will they be extended until the Accenture people learn the position.
Does anyone think they will keep up past our severance dates? There are a lot of new Accenture reps.
Do you mean have they released people on schedule and not paid severance promised.
They've always paid in the 10 plus years of layoffs I've seen.
I'm not exposed outside of my area but seems something like that would be hard to keep quiet.
