Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Total Anarchy!

This company is so lost and totally out of control. People missing from work and just not showing up or away for hours at a time. Managers MIA and when there totally not caring. Senior leaders ignoring and neglecting employees. Morale and contempt for this company at an all time high. Employees scared and terrified if they are even going to have a job tomorrow. Directors and home office lying and deceiving everytime they open their mouths or type out an email. Agents completely belligerent and just being nasty and rude. No control over anything. This company is a complete disaster and mess. Pathetic! Customers would be shocked and disgusted with all this.

If you are mildly successful at Allstate, you can be very successful elsewhere and be compensated better for it.

I left, stayed in the insurance industry but in completely new area. Loving it, also realizing how unhealthy allstate had become.

I was with the company 12 years and my direct leaders sometimes knew what was going on. Their leaders were deaf and blind to everything and were never really seen or heard from. There’s definitely a disconnect going up the chain to the second level of leadership in claims. Unfortunately the biggest loser is the customer. I’ve pulled out all of my family who was insured by them.

The company is chaotic not anarchistic. Anarchy is defined as a system of willful and voluntary social cooperation that is characterized not by the absence of rules but the absence of rulers. We definitely have rulers at Allstate and it is their incompetence and complete lack of understanding of the actuality of front line work starting at the second level of management and all the way up that is the direct cause of the chaos.

This company is an epic disaster and Mario, Tommy, Julie, and the rest of the "leadership" in this company are epic failures and losers and are running a once great company and brand into the ground. And lower level management and employees see it as well and just don't care anymore. Morale is in the toilet within these walls and the end is nearing. I as well do everything in my power to internally and externally let people know that this is NOT the place to trust with your insurance needs. The false and deceptive practices to move and fenagle monies around to give an illusion that this is a profitable and stable company will only last so long. It is all smoke and mirrors and falsities.

The company is not “seen positively overall.”
The company is routinely mentioned as the worst company in the industry for the customer as well as one of the higher priced.
Go look at the boards for other insurance companies and you do not see anywhere near the dissatisfaction as you see with Allsnake.
Stock price propped up by constant stock buybacks and a leadership team that is tonedeaf to anything but increasing its own wealth regardless the cost to morale and customer service….:
You are watching the sequel to Sears in real time…

It is my mission to badmouth allsnake to everyone I need and to ensure that they never do business with them….and to dump them if they do..
The stock price is the least accurate report card on the status of the company as it is propped up by Allstate leadership itself by spending the capitol that they act like they care so much about when they need to spend it on an employee…..or a customer…
Watch the retention, state insurance department investigations, reserving increases to truly get a handle on the struggles.
This company is not what it was 10 years ago regardless of the “yes men/women”
In leadership or the paid employees who try to control the conversations on this board….

A company that wants to make $$? Say it isn't so. smh

As a previous poster commented, the company isn’t worried about any sort of failure with regard to customer service. The brand is still seen positively overall and the stock price is up. Not much else matters to them. If you think they’re worried about someone not getting a call back on their auto claim, or waiting months to have their vehicle appraised, think again.

Total anarchy was the storming of the capital not a absent manager.

You just sound needy and surely should be let go because you take up more space than needed with your whining

Stocks up over $140 today. That's all that matters to the "leaders" of this corp.

It's just terrible. It seems no one came to work in ASIC today or people have been in away for hours. Things are just falling apart.
