Quiet Hiring

https://www.cnbc.com/amp/2023/01/04/gartner-hr-expert-quiet-hiring-will-dominate-us-workplaces-in-2023.html

Is quiet hiring just filling positions with warm bodies?
Or is quiet hiring the prelude to the eventual quiet firing or offshoring?

I like how they say “quiet hiring” to put a positive spin on piling on more work without more pay, but somehow doing my job according to the description is “quitting”.

Who do CNBC, Fortune, Bloomberg, et. al., think they’re fooling?

Agreed. Let's not lose focus on the old-timer Compete to Win catch phrase. That concept is actually new.

Can we stop with these genZ-marketed catch phrases? It is tiring. None of these concepts are new.
