If you care about teamwork or learning from mistakes, you’re out of luck. Every misstep is punished to an unrealistic degree, and teamwork just means setting people up to fail. Micromanagement and constant corrective action have replaced culture entirely. I never hated my job more than I do now.

People at Nielsen are so helpful and encouraging!
(I never heard anyone say this and love to be the first to use novel English sentences)
If you're reading this you either still work for Nielsen, or keep checking in to see how bad it has become since you were laid off. Please look for new jobs and quiet quit until they run you out. I was laid off, furious, and had to take a losing job as my severance ran out. Soon thereafter I got a great job, and now am making $130,000 a year in a sales roles at a competent company. The work is out there, just get creative in your resume writing. Good luck.
I am so sorry. I was laid off a while ago. I'm grieved that it's so hard for you all.
Honestly, anybody still there just deserve it. You have had plenty of opportunities to leave but you have decided to say, go wonder!
Nielsen is a case study on how NOT to run a business. And I have been told by many people that its a relief to be let go but with fair degree of trauma at the same time.
