Anyone know what the difference is and why people are getting different ones?

@be I would go tomorrow if they offered that.
If you go to the mobility survey sharepoint and at the top go to settings and go to people and groups, you will see on the right side all the different mobility survey options, there are 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5B, 6A, 7A, 7B, 8A - obviously dont have access to click further but atleast we know those are all the options
So technically, everyone in the company is getting a survey link so IOL can review the employee’s mobility choice? Chance to move to a different position/asset? Ge-z, here I thought it was just 7A Mobility Survey where you get to indicate “no, i’m not mobile” and “i can relocate to either Edmonton or Cold Lake”
@be
Inter company transfers typically go on a L-1 visa, not the H-1B.
The H-1B would be if you’re being hired by a different company in the U.S., not just transferred internally.
@be I'm sure they dgaf whether it's well received or not. Always double standard multi-tiered program.
Transfers to Houston on a $100,000 H-1B visa? I'm sure that will be well received by those let go.
I am EMTECH at a site.
Got 5B.
Sarnia
Nanticoke
Scona
Cold Lake
there are also 2A, 3A etc and some of these have an option for Houston - but that's probably for senior folks or folks in global roles maybe
Might be dependent on what org or function you are part of. I’ve heard of the 1A, 5A, 5B, 7A, 7B surveys so far. For the people at the refineries I believe they have the option to select any of the sites, some groups like projects only have Edmonton as an option, Upstream people have Edmonton or Cold lake as an option
