Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

Corebridge Stock Price

I recently saw Corebridge stock and it’s not looking good at all. Looks to be below IPO price. Do we expect further layoffs, besides the ones that are going to happen on March 31st? I survived that layoff, but I am concerned that they will cut further to get the price higher. Any thoughts? I also see some Corebridge people leaving already and they are being replaced by Accenture employees.

1raz+1k6ltysV, look at their peer group’s share price. It trades at a PE of ONE. Uno. No bueno.

Now they’re offshoring as much as they can so customers will get an unintelligible Indian when clients call with questions.

It’s mini AIG, nothing more. And if you trust their numbers, I have some beachfront property in Alaska to sell.

Both the companies are not a good place to Join. You will lose your morale and confidence on yourself if you join these companies. It is like walking in a land mine.

I don’t think that CRBG’s stock price being down has anything in particular to do with the company. I think it is just the overall stock market volatility that has driven it down recently. And as to layoffs, there are still many teams looking to hire, some for new roles needed post separation from AIG, some for backfills for people that have left
