Didn’t Whelan say in the last forum that he and Rich are friends outside of work. Well Rich was named the Canadian business man of the year by some bullsh-t organization, after he massacred 3k jobs at Suncor.
This is just another Rich inspired move. This guy is just a little puppet to DW and Kruger.

@ae He could make a different decision as most former Canadian management quit when EM took over 51% with major voting. They went against EM wishes because they did not want to see jobs leaving the country. Appear that JW’s personal interest and lost identity say louder than his words.
What else was he going to do? Exxon owns 70% of the company.
JW said in his first employee forum as the IOL Chairman and CEO that he would make Canadians proud!
