Didn't watch the vdo, but there was a a lot of chatter 5-7 years ago as Tesla got more press about which automaker would eventually buy them, Either GM or Ford. Which benefits more from the patents, and would they use the tech for passenger vehicles or for big pickup trucks ?
Why would he? Already has his own automotive company. GM is trying to get into what he already sells and he’d be paying for some assets (ICE products) that will supposedly become dated. Pretty sure he’d put his $$ elsewhere.
He wants all the perks of being friends of the government.
He has his hands full running Twitter into the ground
