2026 layoffs? Word around Buffalo is we’re about to have massive layoffs. My neighbor even asked me about it. Anyone know when they will hit?

Some say it's going to be 10% across Tech. The first wave was 94 people.
Does anyone know if the contract centers are going to be affected?
Can confirm. Scrum masters, project manager type people laid off. It's empty in here now. Morale extremely low and many have been quiet quitting.
I can say for sure that it's done and there is not any more planned

I have heard a total of 240 people where fired this week and that it is apparently over for now
I was also let go. 10 years there. My manager knew as she was avoiding me all shift. I heard in the “group firing chat” that there will be more to come. This really su-ks. No one is hiring older people anymore. As well as having spinal fusions which make me walk funny - i think they had it out for me. Lol. POS company.
Wow is that what happened? My manager asked me why I was picking up my bags and clearing my desk and I had to tell her Sr management just told me my position was eliminated. She had absolutely no idea
So they let employees go but not contractors
