They did intend to make it 5% but at the time of the earnings report they didn’t even have a plan. They literally decided the night before. Now that the lists have been made it’s actually about 13%.

I have no doubt that it's way above 5%.
I also have no doubt that key infrastructure and services will suffer as a result of low skilled replacement workers.
Who said it was more than 5%?
13%? Any source for that? Or the usual trolls on this site.
What is number for appd engineering?
36% in Jayesh Bhatt’s team - Cloud & Compute Hyperfake
Of course, if you are indian you need not to worry. So much for a company which is all about diversity lol
- 6/13% is absolute nonsense.
Mods keep deleting and will do so again, but we know it's true. Not sure why truth is censored.
This is a discriminatory based layoff. Age, Non Indian, ect.
Going to forward the demographic profile right to the eeoc. Of course they'll do nothing, but press will be bad for them.
@huq+1k5d3O16 no the 13% number for the entire company is accurate. It’s actually 12.6% if you want to get technical about it.
the guy who started this is saying it is 13%
It's 5%, but some BUs are disproportionally impacted. Some will be 30%+
Is it so because they need to get rid of some business units or because of a financial target?
It makes sense to be forced to go above 5% if you need to eliminate BUs that are not efficient anymore
If it is just a way to boost up stocks then what is forcing you to go above 5%? What are the consequences of doing that ?
Within a certain Organization, the number is around 30%
People will be shocked just how many of them and their peers are impacted. The investors will be thrilled.
Yes.
It's a big one.
