Although some think that it will not happen, I am almost convinced that a mass exodus will follow. What do you think?
I will definitely leave very soon.

Vena has been gone for awhile now, genius. On here talking sh-t and you have no idea what is even going on.
Well the government is stealing half the backpay and the company was promoting an average $11,000 pay out so $5,000 won't get anyone very far nowadays.
Land of the free but you can't strike and you can keep half of what you make.

Well at least the ‘su---r’ turnover will bring job security to the trainers.
The new hires will leave, then UP will hire more suckers. Then the suckers will leave, and more suckers will get hired, and on and on and on. It’s that simple.
It wont even take a mass exodus. Just a small number of people leaving would seriously impact things.
What do you think will happen to those profits when people do start leaving? Do you think the company will care about the employees then? The backpay is just starting to come in and the amount some people will get, would be an attractive reason for some to take their money and run.
Lots of talk and no action. All the while the company makes record profits. The company doesn’t care about the employees feelings. The only thing they care about is profits and stock price.
Easier said than done. Most people are just talk and no action. I don't believe you will see this so called mass exodus. I could be wrong , but I really don't think it's gonna happen like people think.
Fritz needs to take Vena and go.
Only time can answer that question. I think there's going to be more departures for sure. How many more are going to leave before the executives wake up and actually admit they have a problem? Again, only time can answer that question. The executives and the management screwed up real bad this time. They refused to negotiate a fair contract. They refused to give a decent recognition to the very people that kept things going during the pandemic. Most of the lower management did nothing but harass people the WHOLE time. The UP played games with peoples well-being for far too long. I certainly don't want to see the company go under, but it's about time to start holding certain groups accountable for the very problems they created. This very issue was predicted years ago by the same people that harassed or fired, and did nothing about it except ignore it. Just like someone else posted before, they were warned!
A lot of people escaped last year and now everyone is looking for something else.
The only people not looking have 3 to 5 yesrs left.
