Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Layoffs are a constant

They are happening in a slow, agonizing trickle, but it goes mostly unnoticed since it's not a major round but just a few people in different groups. I've been a nervous wreck wondering each day if my team would be impacted. Not sure I can deal with this for much longer.

It's great for my org. I left Xerox and now pickup great talent, treat them well and they in turn, treat our customers well. Keep the layoffs going, I need more talent.

The layoffs will happen in October. I said it multiple times on here. There’s no NDA, just an open evaluation of “who can you lose”? It’s cold.

It's been a concern for 25 years at Xerox. I stayed with it though before I retired as I was paid well, I liked the work, I liked the people, and I had skills I knew would land me a job anytime I needed it.

But if you don't like the work, pay or people, and with the job market crashing with this current administration, it's best to start testing the market to see before everybody else does.
