Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

If you actually want a balanced life, don’t sign up to work at State Farm

The company will extract every bit of effort you can give while offering almost nothing in return. Eventually, the abuse will end when the company collapses, but by then, the damage to your sanity and personal life will already be done. Just some friendly advice from somebody who's been here for way too long.

Don't worry State Farm. The conservatives are coming and business will soon be handled with integrity like it once was before. The current methods pushed by prior consultants were a failure. They will soon see the light that good conservative policies promote the well being of all. It's coming. Join the happiness.

You walk in every day and get an "exam" except you feel both hands on your shoulders every time and they tell you everything is normal!

From a retired person who spent over 30 years with the company, I agree. Very sad state of affairs.
