Honestly, I think it needs to be done.

us recalibrate the Medtronic Compass.
It takes months to get anything done at Medtronic. I expect no impact (to anyone other than Geoff) for at least 2 quarters.

I’m guessing: Looking at OU org charts, performance metrics, R&D productivity….and layers upon layers of below average management. Then plotting next phase of divestitures, org flattening, consolidations, etc to increase “operating leverage” and “unlock value”

I think a lot is going on behind the scenes and that we will know more in a couple of months.
