Thread regarding Synamedia layoffs

Communication plays a vital role in layoffs

I am very disappointed with how the cuts were communicated here. If the leadership does not care enough to treat the employees who are affected with respect and compassion, then they should care how badly communicated layoffs affect the morale of the remaining employees. Is that too much to expect from them?

Seem to remember a squirrely little company man broadcasting from his 1 acre private garage somewhere in sh!tsville USA saying , don't panic , we may close CF2 but will be sourcing a state of the art custom made - suits you sir - all singing all dancing fecking palace of bespokeness for all you beautiful peeps to do your creativeness things in ? Seems like they bought him another Trans-Am instead

No longer a plan to get a CF office, not enough staff to fill it.

Not to mention the bad-taste decision to hold unwanted festive celebrations at a time like this. Have some respect for gadsake !

I suggest that OP go read through all the posts here. All the answers to the test are included within. The company is in a death spiral, things won't get better, layoffs are the plan, you’re just a convenience, Yada, Yada, Yada.

It’s almost as though no one from leadership or HR cares at all. I wonder if the company is even solvent at this point.
