Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

On the fence

Would there be any benefit to submitting an EOI at this stage, or have the decisions already been finalized?

@ap sorry, what do you mean with "you have until the end of the year?" I put my EOI already.

EOI has nothing to do with how long you will stay. The plan for your role is what matters.

@ap I've read that in another comment on here. Rhat doesn't make it certain though. The company hasn't said that and none of the communications say that either. Not my first rodeo either though. I think that it'll be a case by case basis. Some will be asked to stay and transition, but if you're disgruntled and they know it they'll probably want you gone asap.

I've heard that if you EOI you have until the end of the year. Otherwise, you leave immediately. I don't know iftheres any substance to that, but that's what's circulating in our office. Has anyone else heard this?

It depends on your group and your leaders. Not all decisions have been made. If you EOI then they will always remember you did EOI. However, it doesn't matter if that is what you want
