Mechanical locomotive Managers DO NOT GET sick days or the senior manager , the only two managers that get any sick days ,are two managers because they've been managers for 15 years .anybody that's been a manager after them gets zero.
Yes, we do. Non-agreement employees get sick time that covers the first 4 days of being sick. After that, it is covered by MetLife as short-term disability and RRB sick benefits also kick in at that point to make it equal to our regular salary. We can also take sick time for a family member being sick if we have to take care of them. Most will just work from home in that case, though.
Most of us really wish our fellow union employees got the same benefit.
Your beef is with the executives who negotiate the union contracts, not the majority of non-agreement employees.
Yes, managers get 4 weeks a year sick pay from day one
Yes non union workers have sick leave. Ask anyone.
Union works should quit voting for the R’s. Lol
I don't see why not! They get paid to do almost nothing now as it is.
Not sure. Earlier this year we had a manager hacking and coughing and sneezing all the time when Omicron was going around badly. He took off work early one day to get “meds”. The next day he came in still sick and when someone asked him if he got tested for COVID he said “No, COVID or not I’m coming in anyway”.
