Interesting how they’re apparently not going to record this one. Does this timing support the theory that they’ll execute the walkouts on Tuesday/Wednesday? I assumed E shift would at least get to stay until Friday, but maybe not.

It doesn't say it will be live broadcast later and says separate meetings for shift teams with department heads
The meeting notice says it won't have a live stream. That does not mean it will not be recorded for rebroadcast later. No live feed but rebroadcast later has occurred before.
Anyone still here that day who got an invite should Not attend. Let him stand there in front of an empty room. That would be sweet.
The meeting rooms in admin 1 1st floor will be all blocked for these exit sessions … security will be in force around , prepare to bring in ur backpack if u have lots of stuff in ur cube, to clear it today Friday Dec 9 …

if Fab 8 All Hands is on Dec 15 , then the layoff will happen before .. and Dec 15 All Hands will be a "emotional" petting session to tell those who are left after the dust has settled...
My manager told me this invite is for PB's org only. My guess is that all will be done by then for his org and this will be an all clear announcement to us.
Other orgs like logistics, de and td will do their own all hands.
There's an easy way to check, who got invites. Just go to your group calendar for 12/15 and try to schedule a meeting , if they are busy/tentative, then they are invited...
So scary man. Am frustrated as this completely spoiled my holiday this year.
A lot of people in certain groups don't ever receive the all hands invites, like logistics. If you got it, doesent mean your getting let go. There not going to lay everyone off at once like that. It also doesent mean your not getting let go. I wouldn't put it past them to reveal who's getting laid off in this way but people are looking into this way more than they should.

They definitely are not going to have the laid off people come in on a Thursday for a meeting and do a group layoff discussion. The manager is going to notify the affected, they are going to sign the papers and then walk out the door.
How can everyone in Fab8 be invited to a one time in-person meeting?? Even after layoffs, it will be still between 1500 to 2000. And not everyone attends it live anyway. Something doesn't add up. Also there are lot of non-PB org people working in Fab8.
It’s a fab8 wide all hands meeting, everyone in the fab is invited. The day after layoffs are supposed to be complete, why bother inviting those being laid off? What’s the need to hide the attendees list on the invite then?

If you got the invite you are either tagged to be let go or part of the group staying. That's all I know.

They told us by Thursday they’ll be done with layoffs for this round . They won’t start before Monday based on what they said. More likely Tuesday .
