Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Cisco Redundancy it’s not the role it’s personal

I’ve been through Cisco redundancy. It’s awful, once you start demonstrate the exec is choosing the person out of revenge and not the role, Cisco unleash accusations with no merit and lie like it’s going out of fashion. Cisco completely ignore their code of business conduct and do all they can to protect the execs. 2, Out of court settlements, and a potential 3rd on its way for slander. My thoughts are with my ex Cisco colleagues who I worked with and respected. To those Cisco execs who abuse their position you will be found out if you abuse your position. The sad part is although Cisco settle out of court because they don’t want it going public, they retain the HR team so nothing changes as is clear on this notice board.
All redundancies are hard but the pathetic thing about Cisco is it claims to be so ethical. Good luck.

Sad to say, managers at Cisco always fire the employees reporting to them that are smarter then they are
Opposite of the way great CEO's run their companies

All terminations are personal. People get chosen to be sacrificed but not others.

Yes, it's personal.

they will have to pay lawyers to prove you wrong so they use the money they would have given to you

If Ciscos 10000’s of redundancy were so lawful, why do they state that they you will only receive the minimum statutory payment if you make a complaint or challenge the process. What have they got to hide.

2 out of court settlements from the tens of thousands of redundancies? That, to me, would highlight that laws are being followed pretty well.
