Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

Dec 10 Feb 20 and May 20

VRP dates are above
Interesting that folks impacted are being told their official last day is Dec 10.
Feb 20th coincides with the annual valentine's massacre

May 20th while odd is 1/2 way thru the year.

if you aren't impacted now, prepare to possibly be for one of those other 2 dates.

I get 50% of 6%. Plus the ARC scored by age of years of service.

The match is actually better now for employees 10+ years in and UNCHANGED for those under 10 years. It was $.50 upto 4% under ten years and $.50 upto 6% for 10+. This is misinformation in the post.

@bev+1k3O6roq - You can't put in twice the funds to get the full match. It's only 50 cents up to 6%. If I invest 12% I'm still only getting the 50 cents up to 6%. This is, in fact, a stealth pay cut, as @sek+1k3O6roq said.

@pay+1k3O6roq

That just means you will need to put in 2x the funds to get the full match.

Thanks for the heads-up. Just resurrected that email from my deleted folder, gonna actually read it this time.

They're so sneaky. That's essentially a stealth pay cut.

Did anyone read the notice from Savings and Retirement that came out on 11/29/2022? It looks like Pepsi is dropping the 100% matching up to 6% to only 50 cents on the dollar.

May 20-that is late. Usually it is April. Curious if those who didn't take the VRP will be ones that get let go first

I agree … especially if you have a pension. Pepsi is trying to unload all of us expensive pension people.
