Given the responses, no one has posted any real evidence of layoffs of any significance.
It appears a few of the posters (trolls) on this thread only want to scare others into believing the proverbial "sky is falling".

@ac
I was planning to retire in 16 months at 55 for early retirement eligibility. Being separated now is a loss of at least $700k in my overall retirement.
I will be fine, but only because I have been a much better than average saver and investor.
I will definitely not miss the he-l hole that I was put through over the last couple years with the targeting.
@ft
I will get 9 months if I sign the paperwork saying I won’t sue. Not sure if I’ll do it. I plan to consult at least 1 attorney.
While they both blow, terminations and layoffs are different. Terminations are for performance or conduct. Layoffs are for business needs such as restructuring.
I am not aware of layoffs this year but there have been many terminations. Whether the terminations were warranted is another conversation.
@a8 did you get severance
Some people on the board can’t recognize sarcasm.
So sick of the trolls continuously saying no layoffs as they ARE going on. Otherwise I must be delusional that I lost my job last week.
No, there have been no layoffs at Ford. Everything is fine. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Given your responses and lack of any evidence of layoffs, you must be trolls.
Maybe the ones who write the scary post of mass layoffs every month or so.
As for me, I am a retired engineer who worked at PDC, Engine Dyno, Rawsonville and AEC over the course my 20+ career at Ford. I experienced and survived a several large and small-scale layoffs during that time. Last layoff of any size was in 2022, several years after I retired. Since then, layoffs if any have been insignificant in size, not even mentioned in newspapers.
My comments are not to dimmish the harm and disruption to the lives of those individuals who were let go. I have experienced being layoff twice in my 45-year work career. I have felt their angst and pain.
I was cut nov 2024, brother in law, apr 2025
To be frank if you have been at Ford for 25 years you should be ready to retire. Being anywhere for 25 years should allow ample time to flip management the middle finger or adsorb any #uckery that they engage in with your employment. Not that you should retire, but you should have been prepared to walk away financially. Su-ks that you got treated that way.
I was terminated this morning. Given BS reason of performance. I had 1 bad, fabricated year end performance review and 25 years of great performance. I was 100% targeted. Didn’t even get to have my midterm review.
🤣
Best troll post ever.
Are you a bot? Where have you been? Are you serious? lol
