@eg the @e9 post was deleted, does anyone have a screenshot or summary?
@fr Let's keep Trump out of this conversation please ;
@fe The Bobs' theory prevails. Cool head Bob
@fp If they catch wind or you try to advocate yourself for fair treatment they will sabotage and discredit you on your way out. Please don't fall for it. Keep your head down.
@fp Ford stalks people they perceive as flight risks and play mind games. Please stay safe and don't show any vulnerabilities. Don't tell your colleagues. Good luck.
@fe for people like me who don't care about Ford anymore and are already interviewing elsewhere, it was entertainment. I can see how it would not be entertaining for others.
@eg+1k2wdm2de Watch the recording for some entertainment? Are you nuts? I actively avoided it for some mental health respite. There is a limit to the amount of BS I can take daily.
I am checked out of this company, and of my job. I stopped caring about the company 6 years ago. Now I don't even care to perform at the levels I used to do. I know that sooner or later, I am getting the boot. I am already thinking of taking a couple of months off after I am laid off. Job market is not good anyways, and I truly need the time to uncompress.
@e6+1k2wdm2de Ford management has lost ALL credibility with me, and yes, they are not leaders.
@eh And that vacation use is distributed evenly!
@e9 knowing Ford Land, the 85% was probably calculated assuming everyone's WFH days are equally spread out and only 80% of people come in every day. If 100% of employees come in on a Wednesday, only 68% would have desks.
@e9 for everyone reading this thread who missed the webcast, this is an accurate summary. Watch the recording for some entertainment.
Saying it doesn't make it true Kumar et all. Ford management has lost almost all credibility with it's employees. I intentionally do not use the word "leadership". About the only thing we believe any more is that management is going to tow the line, because all they care about is their bonuses.
Have some integrity. You and yours (above and below) effed the company up. Badly. Admit it. Stop blaming your employees. Maybe sacrifice combined millions of dollars in your bonuses to save a few jobs.
You can only pi-s people off for so long, before they stop caring.
That Kumar webcast was more a demonstration on how to make an automotive company fail by making all employees unhappy and hate to be at work.
Sorry, but I dont buy this unassigned desk center of gravity collaboration benefit garbage for 1 second.
And where was the data?!?
tune in to Kumar's Industrial Excellence call. The second item on the agenda is an update on Return to Office from Ford Land.
Employees will be permitted to bring their dog(s) to the office.
Oh wait, that one's already on the books. New policy, now you can bring you cats, birds, and fish to the office.
@aw Most likely it will be like hunger games I guess....people ki-ling each other to get a desk to prevent getting layed off....
Please stay on topic
