Am I wrong about this? It feels like small groups keep getting let go quietly, as if no one should notice. Or is this just a fluke, and I’m reading too much into it?

Get ready for a mandate (not suggested) to be in office 3-4 days a week, to include a Monday or Friday. You will be tracked by your badge swipe as well as logging on to the WiFi in office. Reports will be sent to management and they will be required to follow procedures for compliance.
I think they are looking to have people quit so they get out of severance. I say we stand up and say no. If you want us to leave, pay us for the blood, sweat and tears we have given you.
You will.continue to see shrinkage as it comes to manufacturing, closing buildings down and transportation, fewer routes and vehicles needed. Add the ripple effect of not needing management layers, merchandisers etc and this will occur slowly over the next few months!!
The company is in decline. Layoffs will continue for years.
@OP Yes, lots of small layoffs going on monthly so you don’t see the large cuts all at once.
DPA folks will be significantly reduced in Q4 since Enterprise Solutions won’t accommodate all of DPA for their 2026 operating budget. Plans underway already.
Happening every where it seems.
payroll is being downsized, from 44 to 16. some moved onto other rolls, some have to work until mid September to get a severance package
