It’s been obvious for years that brick and mortar retail doesn’t care about loyalty. If you’re still here, start looking for something else. Waiting around only makes it harder when things finally hit the fan.

If it’s that bad… get another job. Ge-z!
Like really...look at all the Executives. Every one of them repugnant and potbellied dweebs underneath it all lmao
The first week I started at this brand I told my manager "Macys will be the final nail in the coffin of my career in Retail". That was 9yrs ago. And its come true!!
I have never worked at such a disorganized company in my life. Its so toxic that any word of truth comes off as Blame. Its so messy that empty space....seems criminally offensive. Its lack of standards and overall unpleasant atmosphere has become too normalized. This isnt a business anymore.
Im so happy I had this experience though. I needed this terrible company to push me into something...REAL. Real jobs...arent stressful. Real jobs are actually very stable and predictable. Real jobs pay very well and have greater benefits.
Im here for a few more months before Im finally able to switch careers altogether. And Id rather die than look back.
Why would you promote someone who opens 30 accounts a month? Foolish to bring your store down like that.
Macy’s doesn’t promote hard working colleagues because they need them to do the grunt work.
I learned long ago Macys doesn't care about top sales or hard work.. they only care about opening macys cards.. when covid hit they kept all the low paying slackers who hide most of the day in the stock room until they get sniffed out by the one manager who comes out of the office and does their job to see him doing nothing.. they promote all the worse and nasty people and all the hard workers go unnoticed. its the macys way.. go work hard for your own self not macys !
Where else can you hide in the stock room for 20 minutes?
