Both are closing.

@g5 yes, there is a store in Florence Kentucky at the Florence Mall. It is two boxes. The main store and the home store.

They update the list every season just about. I would say I wouldn't believe until it's announced by your store manager and liquidators are there. They took 6 stores off the list this round. But regardless of your size or your store being on this list if your not profitable your at risk for closure. That mean yes N75 store will be at risk if they are not profitable. Look at union Square is flagship and that is on the list. Will probably stay on the list until we find a buyer. That store loses this company so much money.

The New York Stores sound pretty accurate to me from my experience.

Virginia is inaccurate.
Valley View (Roanoke) had two boxes and sold the Home Store building and it’s down to one building. It’s been confirmed that it’s a Go-Forward location from leadership.

@ef it’s absolutely incorrect. There’s even an N75 door listed here, and that is certainly not closing. And another that’s been removed from the possible closure list.

To be clear, only the confirmed ones are guaranteed to close so far. This is just a list of the stores that are being considered for closure. It's unlikely that ALL stores on this list will close.

There’s a handful of standalone furniture galleries that will close as well.

Same poster as previous, so you know I know. Technically, Florence Macy’s is in the OH/IN/Pitt Division. Oxmoor and Fayette are in the GA/AL/TN/KY Division. Maybe that’s your confusion.

3 things, I can tell you for sure-

There is a 2x box door at Florence Mall in Florence, KY, look it up.
This is an old list with 2025 closures deleted. There will not be near this many closures. Investors are quiet, some of these doors are not terrible. This list was just to make a point LY.
The doors listed as early 2026 are the only accurate closures, so far. May add a few more, but less than 20 in 2026.

There isn’t a Florence Kentucky store. There are only two stores in Kentucky. Oxmoor and Fayette.

The NJ list I can confirm as accurate.

Looks right for MI

A handful of these are 2029 since the lease will be expiring.

This is a made up list and is absolutely not accurate.

This list may or may not be 100% accurate but even if it is I counted 100 locations on it and I believe Macy's is doing the closings in 2 more rounds - one in early 2026 and then early 2027. So only some of these would be closing in 2026. My guess would be around half so 40-50 locations?
