Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Severance Questions

Does the payout get paid in a lump sum? How long after your termination date? Are there any restrictions on getting another job after your termination date?

Found out last week I’ve been CPMed.

@ac I'm not the original poster, but I did ask the question regarding what type of severance Intel has. I'm asking cause I don't work for Intel. I just wanted to compare my companies 20 weeks max for 25+ years of service.

Paid in a single lump sum
Acrued sabbatical paid separately though along with your last paycheck
Severance paid within 2 pay periods
If you find another job after termination, consider severance a bonus for your effort.

Make sure to enroll in COBRA on time

Best of luck to you
