They care about your safety, factoring an active shooter possibility from the employee anticipating their layoff. Why such a fuss about working from home? Don't you like that? Just chill!!
So the field doesn’t need to be safe?
Last time they told us to work from home (before Covid) it's because they got rid of a lot of directors with tons of Pepsi memorabilia and junk in their office. This was done so they can clean up and leave quietly. I bet a lot of the directors this time AGAIN.
If you go to the Purchase office you will be sent home. No one is allowed to enter for safety reasons.
Divisions too were asked to wfh
I understood it as HQ only to WFH.
