PBNA divisions have a lot of marketing folks who have been impacted. Saying no one cares is pretty heartless.

Any news on if they're laying off senior or junior people more? And specific departments? I feel IT may be impacted because they might focus on outsourcing more.

Purchase people are impacted. Finance and marketing, so far.

They may want the buildings empty as a way for the people laid off, who may be upset or crying to have to be escorted out by security, and not have them walk through others working in person.

Any idea if people who are being let go are asked to stay for a month or two or are they terminated with immediate effect?

I was thinking safety concerns. In chicago there are no offices or permanent work stations so not like anyone would need to pack belongings and leave. FLNA email said stay home for the privacy of those impacted but, again, nothing is stored onsite so that doesn’t make sense..

Judging by the e-mail in which HQ associates were asked to WFH till Wednesday, people in HQ will be slaughtered too. Why else would they be asking them to work from home?
