I was laid off from Pepsi during the Pandemic 2 years ago from a foodservice position after working for the company for over 10 years. Today, not only am I earning over 2x what Pesico paid me annually, but the quality of my work/life has increased 10x.
Best of luck to you all

For those impacted was it effective immediately or is there a transition period. What severance was offered if any?
I had to train my replacement for 6 months and smile through it. It was torture given that it was first thing every morning and handing over 20+ years of work I built and they now take credit for. I finally got a job outside of the company and could not be happier. There is life after PepsiCo
I think this is important for all of us impacted today to keep in mind. I’m on hour three of my new reality and am going to make the most of it. Don’t let negativity eat you up…that will get you nowhere except a starting point in a ho-e emotionally. We got this, people!
Thanks and no thanks to PepsiCo slavery. I resigned in 2020 after 9 years and now earning 2x at a better, faster, and stronger company.
I meant to say 2021 not 2022.
Same here. Announcement was made March 8 and our last day was August 7, 2022. We had to train the Mexico replacements for 5 months if we wanted our package. We also had to sign a confidentiality agreement to not bad mouth the company during this phase. After my severance was over, Pepsi sent a survey if I will continue buying their products? I was like........ you got to be kidding. Today, I'm at a Fortune 10 company using my degree and creating a very nice nest egg. I thank God everyday for that lay-off. It opened my eyes that Pepsi never cared for me.
