Been here a few months and still can't believe how normal it is to expect people to work ten hour days like it's nothing. Why are so many okay with this? Or is this just my team?

Most of my team is only working 7 to 8 hours a day. On Fridays everybody is checked out by 2 PM.
Must’ve depend on your area.
Nothing is normal at this place anymore.
What’s wrong, you don’t like being a team player??
@jt Brett Wall got a 40% comp increase. Hasn’t hit plan in 5 years. Why is he still here? Oh yeah… F.O.G.
@h6 A 2% or 3% raise while our worthless CEO got a 16% raise.
What's so bad? It's not the hard work, it's the feeling that it will just go down the drain because there's no critical mass of people who are trying or caring.
What's so bad about working hard to do a great job?
Unfortunately, there's nothing we can do about it. We can't even unionized and people aren't going to stage a walkout in fear of losing their jobs.
We are all cooked
People aren’t okay with it but it’s an employer market so we deal with the shitification of the market and jobs. The only main way to improve it is to vote people who want to make change or replace leadership
You just have more energy and higher standards than everyone who has already spent it and has become burned out and given up hope for things to improve.
which OU? Robotics?
It depends on your department and position. Some departments expect this, some don’t.
