Why is our leadership so clueless?

Sabre is destined to sink with this bunch.

@ah The only part I am onboard with from that bollox is about the CIO. The guy has an ego the size of his tummy and technical knowledge less than his height. A perfect bellend.

@a7 what buyout? They have almost 6 billion in debt and the company was valued at 4 Billion and not profitable. They have sold off anything that was making a profit and their core offering GDS is dieing against new startups with better tech and no debt. They have a 290 million dollar minimum commit spend fine coming in 2030 and 555 mil due end of 2026 and 333 mil due on more debt maturity’s beginning 2027 and another massive payment due summer of 2027 while locked into DXC contract through 2030 which is 180 mil a year, coforge which is 125 mil a year out the door they aren’t turning a profit and locked into bad contracts across the board because leadership isn’t technical or has a clue how to be IT much less a decent IT Vision with Google salespeople sitting in office with them. No one is going to buy or acquire Sabre in this state. They are going to watch them hit bankrupcy then buy up the product and debt on penny’s on the dollar probably incorporate it into Synaxsis hospitality solutions and you got Sabre 2.0. Too many regulations keep Google from buying them and they can’t refinance really because the feds aren’t dropping interest rates. It’s over for Sabre. Every last ELT, VP and C-suite have ran it like id--ts because they have no real technical background. Even their CIO is a glorified help desk network tech and that’s all he has demonstrated his entire time. They ruined a good company and cost people their jobs. A blind chimp doing IT work for 5 years could do better than them. Not to mention offshoring is the majority of tickets so they aren’t hiring the best or brightest or even doing best practice. Sad to see them go under but people aren’t drinking the koolaid anymore.
