Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

No respect to employees

It does feel that company doesn’t have any respect to its employees especially in the foundry. Everyone’s so used to being abused and tired that they don’t notice much.

You exempts are OOP every other day, how can anything get done considering the ridiculous process to get things done, no redundancy. Promoting inexperienced people and every excuse in the book to avoid any accountability. TSMC should take over and have a military style boot camp to get them in line.

It's management's fault. The higher up you go, the worse it is

Respect is earned, not given. So how can anyone really respect an organization that continually lies to management, produces subpar products, is grossly obese staffing wise, non-competitive (in yields, mfg cost, time to market, product performance), and is losing the company billions upon billions per qtr... with profitability nowhere in sight. Based on these metrics, that is the level of respect has IFS earned?

People think Intel being bad is hilarious. The most coddled employee group on the planet.
