Same 10 questions every.single.year…… I always put strongly disagree on every question no matter who my manager is or how bad they su-k. The problem usually isn’t with my manager. The problem is with the trickle down effect of bad management from the executives down to the front line managers. Our processes are terrible and are checks in the box of things that typically don’t even matter. This is why Halliburton is struggling so bad in NAL.

So I do know that it is a direct reflection on your manager. So if your manger su-ks then fill it out according. I know several departments have had bad scores and there was a manager change or fired. Only thing I wish they would do is put a place for comments. One areas manager told them that he didn’t believe in check ins but to tell everyone they had them if asked. Such a BS manager that don’t even care enough to have a check in.

Ask yourself this. In all the time they’ve sent out the Pulse Survey, what positive changes have you seen at Halliburton? Been a slow drip of bleeding the rank and file while Jeff and his excom cronies enrich themselves with bonuses and massive stock awards. $20 or $45 a share don’t make a huge amount of difference when your pulling in $8 to $25 million a year.

Bust out the playbook for that, rodeo boy.

my PGL told us to do the survey and give good scores because we are competing with other departments and other facilities. so we need to make our scores good to make arbroath a leader

They don't care what you say. What seems to really get their attention is when you refuse to do it. Management seems to be evaluated on completion rates more than anything else. Let your silence show them that Halliburton will never be a GPTW.
