Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Consider This During Next Round of Layoffs

Crown Castle lured our new CEO away from Vantage Towers with an $800,000 signing bonus and a $1 million salary. An SEC filing says that he could earn up to $14 million in his first year!!!!!!

We are flushed with cash to give to a new EMT member!

Those watching the company conversation. Did anyone else find it a bit odd that Dan is crying about leaving the best job ever and that we will all do great at whatever we do? Seriously? Seriously. With his compensation package I would have seen it as the best job ever, too. He worked less than a year as interim CEO and is going to be able to cruise the world on a yacht while fondly remembering all the people who have lost their minds over the past 2 years.

@jp I have no interest in arguing with stupid people. However, your opinion reflects more on your values any anyone else’s.

By the way, that post never mentioned the current “king.” You had to make it about old yam t*ts…MAGA takes the bait easier than a catfish.

The post was just showing facts about administrations in general. The same people crying about the wage gap are the same people who vote for it.

Why are you turning this conversation into something political. We currently have the greatest president in history, that is a fact based on data from the Presidential National Society Administration.

The Economic Policy Institute found that the top 1% wage grew 138% since 1979, while wages for the bottom 90% grew 15%. That wage gap continues to grow, especially under current administration policies. In fact, Republican presidents have been associated with a greater increase in income for wealthy families, leading to a substantial widening of the wage gap.

Our new CEO will be under paid per industry compensation.
Also, I do not care if you have been here twenty years, you should look outside of this organization for another career opportunity if you are not happy with your biweekly deposit.

Everyone has career day at school growing up. You chose your path. Either change that path or live with it.

The bottom line, the CEO will be extremely overpaid. If you feel you are paid too much and would like to donate to our new CEO please speak up.

10× the average worker to include all incentives. The problem with C suite pay packages is stock base compensation is excessive compared to average worker. Just look at the last two CEOs they ran this company into ground amassing 35 billion in debt and walk away multi million dollar packages

I would love to know what some of you think a CEO should make? He runs a billion dollar company. Stop thinking you’re important. They can fire all of us and the company would keep humming along

Hey Pal, if you don't like making $65K a year while our CEO make millions go out and find another job. I have been here for over 20 years and watched many CEOs come and go, at the end of the day it's does not affect me, and I really don't care who is driving this ship. I make over $150K and have figured out how to game the system as a tower manager. I Just stay good friends with my director and the rest takes care of itself and he takes care of me and my issues.

I would like to hear feedback from employees who are pleased that our new CEO will be greatly compensated. While most employees try to manage an extremely large workload our EMT is lining their pocket’s and reducing our comp.

Consider your life choices next time instead being upset a guy is getting paid. It’s Not even a lot really for a CEO of a publicly traded company.

Any salary and compensation over $500K is ridiculous. A CEO doesn’t save lives and they do nothing extraordinary. Just very greedy individuals taking compensation from hardworking employees who deserve to be treated better.

The 800k is in RSUs, 1m for a CEO is actually cheap these days.
